| OK I've just fit a new TPS and harness to a car and am only getting a voltage range from 3.5-5.0v when trying to set it to .45v. The car in question is a 1990 build, and I've run the part number through FAST to confirm that I have a suitable TPS. I do. I have also tried substituting another TPS from a 1991 build (same part number stamped on both TPS) and get the same results. I've run through the diagnostics at https://z32.wikispaces.com/Throttle+Position+Sensor and everything checks out EXCEPT for the high voltage on the TPS signal output wire. Any ideas? I'm stumped. I can't refit the original TPS as the owner of the car has thrown it away.
